I hated this album from the first note. Maybe there’s a message to this record, but it’s lost in bad music, compressed audio, an uninteresting style, and ham-fisted lyrics. I think I said “what the fuck am I listening to?” out loud multiple times while I listened to this record. At least once during Waiting Room. About 1/4 of the way through, I actually considered giving up and picking a different album. If I had realized it was over an hour long, and the last track was twelve minutes long, I might have actually done it. If I had to pick the worst album I’ve listened to so far this year, it’d be a toss-up between this and +.
