I forgot how good Kill the Moonlight is! Spoon is one of the few bands whose albums I own, and I own most of them. Because of that, I tend to only hear their music when I’m shuffling through my library, unless it’s new or I’m listening to Gimme Fiction because it’s my favorite and I know it so well. Kill the Moonlight is not quite as good as Gimme Fiction, but it’s pretty damn close. I have to say it dips a little half way through, but honestly I think that may be more about my attention span today than the album itself. I started out listening with fresh ears, and I think my attention span flagged around the time when I stopped giving tracks a ππ» Β and gave them a π€·ββοΈ instead. But even the songs that aren’t great are still good, and there are no bad tracks.
