I was absolutely not expecting to find similarities in listening to Fugees and Steely Dan, but here were are. I’m starting to think I should listen to everything with open. Like Aja, I was surprised to find so much more depth in The Score, given how many times I’ve already listened to it. I found myself enjoying even the songs I didn’t care for before, once I understood what the song was actually about. I also didn’t realize how many religious references there were in this album.
